Today in class we:
1.  Opener  - intro to parabolas
2.  Graphing calculator activity
3.  Assignment: 

pg. 484 11, 12, 14, 17 Describe how the graph of the given function differs from the parent graph of y = x2.

Include: any horizontal or vertical shift, whether the graph opens up or down, and whether the graph is narrower, wider, or the same shape as the parent graph.

Tuesday 3/18/14 Lesson 10.1 graphing parabolas

Today in class we:
1.  Went over the mid term exam
2.  Chapter 10 intro activity
3.  HW:  Chapter 10.1 Teaching video

Friday 3/7/14

Today in class we:
1.  Opener- we reviewed for the mid term
2.  We answered questions over Mid Term Wksht and then turned that in
3.  Took part 2 of the mid term
HAVE A GREAT BREAK!!!

Thursday 3/6/14

Today in class we:
1.  Opener- reviewed for mid term
2.  Went over Ch 12 tests
3.  Took mid term part 1, short answer section
4.  Finish Mid Term Review Wksht if not done
5.  Mid Term Part 2 is tomorrow (multiple choice section)

Wednesday 3/5/14

Today in class we:

1.  Opener:  we reviewed for the mid term

2.  Finish tests:  we finished the Ch. 12 test.  Many students were not finished

3.  We assigned the Mid Term Review Wksht

3.  Slates practice for test.
4.  HW:  PG  638  1-33 odds OR try problems from the in class review which is similar to the test you will take tomorrow.
